Forest of Souls

Though still early in its progress, it had appeared that fall already took its toll on the land. Leaves from the oak trees released their grip on the branches and scattered themselves across the land. Luckily the pine trees retained their green giving some sort of life to the land. Antheia;s eyes scanned the are in search of a nearby pack member. It had appeared that she was the only one there at the moment. "Looks like i'm the first to arrive" the she wolf mumbled to herself. It was late, quickly the fall air laid it's cold grip onto the lass's body. Her eyes shifted towards a semi small pile of dead leaves. Antheia's body drifted towards it laying her limbs on top. "Hopefully you guys get here safetly" she whispered

Hoole traveled along the noisy path of dried oak, maple, and other tree leaves. Feeling the cooling wind which hinted winter was on it's way, he lifted his muzzle. Sniffing the late autumn's air scenting Antheia was close by. The brute quickened his pace soon the familiar fae was in sight and he smiled slightly. "Hi Antheia." The brute spoke softly before sitting down on his hunches, his head turned toward Antheia waiting for a reply.

"Hi Antheia."

Silence rung in the she wolfs ears. No longer had birds sang their beautiful summer songs. A familiar voice broke this silence alerting the young lass "Ah, looks like you finally made it here Hoole. How are you?" Antheia said with a crooked smile. It was rather nice having another member make it to the forest of souls. The she wolf rose from the crisp leaves shifting her weight to the side.

"Hello Antheia."



"There you are Chelsea, I was beginning to worry" Antheia said. Her light amber eyes picked up on the alphas body. Hunger quickly set in causing a rather interesting sound to escape from the fae's stomach. "I believe that when morning sets in we should find food." Antheia said glaring at her stomach.

Listing to Antheia's reply the brute stood up before speaking a reply, "I'm Great! How are you?" His deep voice kind as he replied. His ears perked as he turned toward Chelsea, "Hello Chelsea-" He cut himself off, before turning toward the river. "I agree Antheia....hmm, I'm in the mood for fish." The brute said walking closer toward the river, into the soft, cold, damp sand.

"I agree Antheia....hmm, I'm in the mood for fish."


"Fish?" Antheia said rather confused by this. "I've never really tried to fish before. It's quite interesting to watch." she said with a chuckle. Quickly her hunger grew causing her jowls to water. "I think that sounds like a perfect idea" she said trotting over towards the waters edge. Slowly the lass lowered her cranium towards the clear liquid. The moons reflection glistened creating a calm mood.

"If you'd like I can accompany you in the morning.



"I would very much love that Chelsea" Antheia said turning her attention towards the alpha. Her beige tall swayed from side to side as she turned back towards the water. Her excited quickly grew causing the fae to pounce too early. With a splash, Antheia fell into the river. Her light beige pelt became soaked. "Look like that went well" Antheia said with a chuckle.

Hoole smiled at Chelsea, "It's fine." He said with a small chuckle, he heard a splash and saw Antheia fell into the river. "Be careful, if you go splashing around like that all the fish will swim away!" The brute chuckled, "Do you want me to teach you how to fish?" He asked looking at his reflection and the fish swimming by. Planting his paws firmly into the soft sand he then made sure the fish could not see his shadow, when he saw a fish swim slowly closer and closer. Quick as a flash the brute clamped his jaws around the fish, then quickly trotted toward the shore, and dropped the fish giving it a quick bite as he held it down with one of his paws. "Anyone want this one? It's a bit sandy but you can clean it off in the river."

"My apologizes, I'm a tad bit clumsy with it comes to fishing" Antheia said. With a sigh the lass climbed out of the river. She shook off the water before sitting down. Her luminaries watched Hoole fish, to her amazement he caught a fish. "I'll travel a bit up the river so I can practice. I don't want to scare the last of the fish away for you guys" she spoke with a small smile.
Antheia's head turned towards the right guiding her paws. Her trot was much like a gazelles, with every step she took she mad a hop.
The she wolf made a five minute journey up the river. The spot seemed rather perfect in her eyes. There was just enough lush grass left to make a comfortable spot.

Theiran stood tall but weary to the wolf. She was smaller then Therian, easy to be able to get away from. Therian looked at the wolf for a moment before replying, "I'm just hungry. I've been looking for food for days now." she lied. Therian's last meal was about 3 days ago. She could go another week with out eating, but her stomach thought otherwise.
Therian took a couple of steps closer, watching the small group. She could easily out run them if they decided to chase her off. All she wanted was a nice meal to go, chit chat wasn't one of her priorities. Though, if it meant she could get a decent meal, she would have to go with it. Therian hated socialising with strangers, but she decided to be some-what nice, only to get a fish or two. "Therian, is my name." she said.

'Oh great now what?' Therian thought to herself. She had come in to snatch a decent meal and was now invited to stay. What if she said no? She may not be able to get any of the food here. What if they caught something nice too? Like an elk a caribou or, even better, a moose! Oh how she loved moose. Therian could feel her mouth watering now. Her stomach began to growl too. Maybe she could stay the night and snatch whatever meal they got in the morning. Anything could be better than a rabbit and staying out in the dark all alone. She did sometimes miss company of other wolves, but other times she did not one bit. "Uh, yeah, that would be grand!" she said, wishing she could swallow her words all over again. 'did I seriously just say that?' she questioned herself.

Fabion stepped out into the den area, he looked over at the many wolved and dipped his head respectfully to his fellow pack mates. He looked over at Chelsea and smiled and then went over to greet her and touched his nose to hers, then he looked over at the two new wolves and sat near them.

Nova sniffed the fresh air and smiled blowing it out swiftly from her nose. 'Ahh I love the fresh air of the forest' she grinned and then looked over at the wolves. She sat down and began to look around the ground and she saw moss, rocks, tree roots, pebbles, grass, flowers, leaves, and many other things she liked. She heard a sound near her and looked over to see a white wof with black markings come near her, she thought his markings were extraordinary and she liked them. "Hello, I am Nova" she smiled and glanced at them.

Nova smiled at the alpha and started to think of maybe everyone was hungry. Herself hadn't eaten in a while. She looked down and saw a elk near the den area. She flew into the bush near it and watched as it raised its head. 'Hehe' she thought and started to crouch as it walked closer eating the grass near her. Then she jumped out on it and bit its back hard feeling blood pour though her mouth and onto the ground quickly. She was tossed off and thought this elk must be healthy but she wasn't going to give up. She ran to its side and bit its front legs making it fall and roll onto the ground nd she showed no mercy jumping on it and quickly killing it. She slowly graed it near the alphas and drop it taking a few bites out and walking towards the entrance, "My sencer apologies" she thought because she hunted yet it was not her rank and at first, yet she tried not to be seen taking a few bite, so she couldn't be to eat last, she stood watch and kept quiet.
